Breakfast

Q: What is included for the breakfast at the hotel?

A: Please be aware that the breakfast served will vary depending on the hotel. Some hotels will offer a breakfast buffet including sandwiches, cereals, yogurts, juices and hot drinks etc. Others might only offer a “continental breakfast” including tea, coffee, juice and toast.

Cameras inside the stadium

In most cases bringing a camera in to the stadium will not be permitted. This is to prevent professional photographers etc from taking photographs without having a press card or authorisation. However, in many cases, despite being stated in the terms & conditions that cameras are not permitted some people bring them into the stadiums anyway and no action is taken. As long as you are aware that an inspection might take place and your camera could be confiscated, in which case you can collect it after the game/concert. The choice is yours!

Tickets

Q: I would like to purchase tickets for an event only, will Nickes.com be able to help me with this?

A: Our ticket and hotel packages offer the best deals to clients, but on some occasions we are able to offer tickets only. Please email us at sales@nickes.com with your request.

Q: How do I know which part of the stadium my ticket will be for?

A: For seat numbers and sections of tickets purchased through Nickes.Com we can only pass on information that has been confirmed to us by our subcontractors (E.g. clubs, other partners etc). This will be stated in your booking confirmation. However we can provide further details regarding your seats one week prior to the event.

Moved / Cancelled or Abandoned Events

In reference to the specific terms & conditions for Nickes.com, paragraph 2.

Nickes AB cannot be held liable for moved/cancelled or abandoned events. It is the customer’s responsibility to check for any possible changes that may occur before making the reservation. The customer must check that no changes have been made to the time and date of the event a couple of weeks ahead of departure, a couple of days before departure and again a day prior to travelling. This can be done at Nickes.Com or on the tickets. Anyone watching more than one game during the trip is liable for checking that these are not played on the same date. Should the changes lead to additional costs for re-bookings of e.g. transports, accommodation, tickets etc or if cancellation fees arises these will be charged to the customer. In the event of a game/show being moved/cancelled or abandoned the ticket will be valid for the new date of the event. Customers must keep their tickets to claim any possible compensation. This compensation/refund can only be paid out to customers if Nickes AB receives a refund from the organisers of the event. If the organisers of the event decide to take other measures, Nickes AB will follow these procedures and pass on the information to our customers. The customer can not be compensated for the full value (i.e. for transports, accommodation etc) of this trip. A handling fee of minimum £60 (or €65) for cancellations due to cancelled / moved events will always be charged.

We always follow our subcontractor’s rules & regulations for cancellations / re-bookings and always try to solve problems in any of the following ways:

1. We try to get your booking onto the new date, with risks for re-booking fees.
2. We cancel the trip, with the risk of cancelation fees.

Travel Advice

England
The customer must keep him/herself informed about the following details:

If league games are:
• Scheduled for the same day as potential cup fixture dates, i.e. domestic cups, The Super Cup, Intertoto Cup, The Club World Cup, Europa and Champions League.
• At risk of being postponed / moved back in order to give teams more time to rest in between games.
• At risk of being rescheduled due to a cup replay.
Customers planning to see more than one game during their trip are also advised to make sure that these games are not being played on the same day.
A general recommendation for customers travelling to England watching football over a weekend is to make it a Friday – Monday stay, 3 nights / 4 days (or to be even more on the safe side Friday – Tuesday i.e. 4 nights / 5 days) to cover themselves against all eventualities.
Games scheduled to be played on Saturdays can be moved to Sundays and also Friday or Monday evenings. This is due to games being subject to television broadcasting, meaning dates as well as Kick Off times can be switched at short notice. Teams advancing in cup competitions (domestically and internationally) may also have an impact on the fixture list. These recommendations are mainly to help our customers avoid additional costs for re-booking their accommodation and flights.
Games may sometimes be rescheduled to be played during the week (e.g. on a Monday) due to cup games, TV broadcasting, etc. This is rare but does happen, therefore:
• For games over The Easter period we recommend you to make your trip from Thursday – Monday.
• For games around New Year we recommend you staying until at least the 3rd of January.
• For games being played during the week we recommend you to travel out no later than the day before the game, and travel back the following day after the game at the earliest.
• When games are rescheduled by clubs or broadcasters that does not mean the time and date is definite. The game could be moved again due to teams advancing in one of the cup competitions or broadcasters deciding to change their programme schedule one more time. Always check dates for later rounds of League Cup and FA Cup games. Should either team you wish to travel and see reach the later stages in either of these competitions the Premier League game scheduled for that date be postponed
For games over the weekend we advise that you arrive in England by Friday lunchtime, in order to cover yourself should the game be rescheduled for Friday night.

Times for Kick Off
Kick off scheduled for Saturdays 15.00 (UK time) may be changed to 12.00, 12.30, 13.00, 13.30, 14.00, 16.05, 17.00 or 17.15 on the same day. They can also be rescheduled for Sundays, same Kick Off times as above applies.
Matches due to be played on Saturdays and/or Sundays may be switched to Mondays 19.45 or 20.00pm.

Risks with flights on Fridays & Sundays
Games could be moved from Saturday to Sunday. Depending on time for kick off you may be forced to book a later flight in order to be able to watch the whole game, or risk missing the game completely.

Risks with flying on the day of the game
Any delays with regards to your transport could result in you not getting to the stadium in time for the kick off, or missing your flight home. We will of course help you whatever travel arrangements you make. However, we want you to be aware of the risks involved should you decide to travel without covering yourself for possible rescheduling of fixtures.

For bookings on the same day, and up to a few weeks after, the fixture list for the new season has been released by the Premier League please be aware that dates and times for all fixtures may change. This could be due to TV broadcasting, clubs being involved in cup competitions (domestic and international), security reasons by the police etc.

If league games are:• Scheduled for the same day as potential cup fixture dates, i.e. domestic cups, The Super Cup, Intertoto Cup, The Club World Cup, Europa and Champions League.
• At risk to be postponed / moved back in order to give teams more time to rest in between games.
• At risk of being rescheduled due to a cup replay.
• Customers planning to see more than one game during their trip are also advised to make sure that these games are not being played on the same day.
A general recommendation for customers travelling to Holland watching football over a weekend is to make it a Friday – Monday stay, 3 nights / 4 days. Games scheduled to be played on Saturdays can be moved to Sundays and also Friday evenings. This is due to games being subject to television broadcasting, meaning dates as well as can be switched at short notice. Teams advancing in cup competitions (domestically and internationally) may also have an impact on the fixture list. These recommendations are mainly to help our customers avoid additional costs for re-booking their accommodation and flights.
• On rare occasions games may be played during the week, e.g. on a Monday.
• For games over Easter we recommend you to travel Thursday – Monday.
For games over the weekend we advise that you arrive in Holland by Friday lunchtime, in order to cover yourself should the game being rescheduled for Friday night. When games are rescheduled by clubs or broadcasters that does still not mean the time and date is definite. The game could be moved again due to teams advancing in one of the cup competitions or broadcasters deciding to change their programme schedule one more time.

Risks with flights on Fridays & Sundays

Risks with flying on the day of the game
Any delays with regards to your transport could result in you not getting to the stadium in time for the kick off, or missing your flight home. We will of course help you whatever travel arrangements you make. However, we want you to be aware of the risks involved should you decide to travel without covering yourself for possible rescheduling of fixtures.
